See the Recording Academy’s Candy Land-Inspired After-Party.This year’s the theme for the Grammy awards official party included vintage arcade games, roving performers, and oversize candy props.

About 5,000 guests filled the massive party space the size of three football fields. Illuminated trussing served as decor surrounding a central water feature within the space.

Guests danced on an enormous black-and-white patterned dance floor to the sounds of DJ Michelle Pesce and headline entertainers Aloe Blacc and Thelma Houston.

An oversize high-heel shoe prop decorated the main stage.

A real working fountain in the center of the space included water that danced in choreographed programming.

A performer on a rubberized pole appeared to defy gravity as she soared in all directions over the crowd.

Vintage pinball games were fanned out in an arcade section of the party space.

A photo booth from sponsored included a bed; the idea was to sell the restaurant’s new breakfast-all-day offerings.
A huge food truck from the company added to the catering options for guests.
A separate Grammy Lounge area was marked by red lighting.
